Our new development. At last the correct and humane approved trapping device for catching young foxes.
The trap is featherlight and made of robust synthetic piping. It can be buried in the entrance to the tunnels without causing problems to the trapping mechanism. Solid wire mesh end. Trapdoor inside. Super sensitive wire release.
The trap is set up in a best possible horizontal position in the tunnel entrance. Therefore it can not be passed or gone around. The trapdoor opens inwards. This makes it possible for other young foxes to follow into the trap after catching the first. For catching rabbits, the trap is half-buried near the warren entrance and baited with pieces of apple and carrot. |
