A structure for beech and tree martens and can be used as a non-lethal trap at the same time!
The box is attached in the forest to a tree or in barns and buildings on the wall. The interior is bedded with hay or straw and baited with eggs. A trunk or board is fixed below the entry. There is a lockable window on the side. The sides can be folded open for easy cleaning and setting the trap.
The trapdoor fixed inside is red on the outer surface making it easy to check for catches. The floor is removable and therefore the catch can be dropped through into a sack.
